The bun. Nothing is easier for a frantic mom trying to get out of the house while kids are clawing at her thighs asking for snacks and projects and trips to Disneyland. The fact that they are all the rage at the moment makes them so much sweeter. You mean my messy top knot is actually something people try for at the moment? Score!

For me, messy is key. I look like an alien invading from a foreign galaxy when my hair is all perfect and pulled tightly to my head. Luckily, messy is also in!

Trim Your Own Bangs?!

I got slightly too excited when I saw this Refinery 29 video this morning. I decided to go with bangs a few months ago and have been struggling to keep them in check ever since. Heading to the salon every couple of weeks for upkeep is just not going to happen.

I’m definitely going to give this a try later this week! I’ll post pictures to let you lovelies see how it works.
