My Week Through Instagram

I’m a little light on photos this week because I was a busy little bee preparing for my sister’s (surprise) baby shower on Saturday (OK so it was more of an attempted surprise than an actual surprise. As soon as I saw her walking up to my house all dolled up I knew there was no hope that it was a surprise!). These are supplies from a failed crafting attempt. Expect a blog post on that soon!

My little bean refused a nap on party day. I wish I could say that was out of character, but lately I feel like I spend most of my day trying to get this little animal to nap. There’s so much to get into and she’s so nosy, she can’t even entertain the possibility of napping on most days.

I guess she partied a little too hard because she passed out in a sea of ketchup once everyone left. She also managed to loosen her diaper and pee in the middle of my living room as my sister was opening her gifts, but that’s a whole other story!

Here she is on another napless day, too tired to run around at story hour with her little bite-sized friend. Sam always says that Ellie and the other little sister at story hour “are going to be BFFs.” I swear that statement gets funnier every time I hear it.

Here’s my sister’s baby bump! I took her to the doctor’s office yesterday and it was an event-filled appointment to say the least. Aside from her almost passing out a few times, us shoving nuts in her face for fear of her blood sugar being too low, and noticing some contractions, she had a test that told us that she will, indeed, be having this baby early. She’s at 33 weeks right now. Cross your fingers for us that she makes it another two weeks!
